The Air Mobility Warfare Center at Fort Dix, N.J., is spreading the work about its introductory interactive distance-learning air mobility operations course. Officials say the online course has gotten rave reviews, commenting about its “outside the box” approach and “big picture” attitude. It has take the place of a two-week, in-residence course that cost about $2,000 per student, say Air Mobility Command officials.
Boeing received a $2.47 billion Air Force contract Nov. 25 for 15 more KC-46s, bringing to 183 the number of Pegasus tankers on contract to all customers, foreign and domestic. The new contract—for Lot 12 of the initially planned KC-46 buy—is to be completed by 2029.
