The Air Force Space Command team at Vandenberg AFB, Calif., celebrated the Air Force’s 60th Anniversary with the 75th consecutive successful launch of a Delta II booster, counting launches from both the East and West ranges, reports SrA. Stephen Cadette. The Delta II boosted the DigitalGlobe WorldView-1 satellite into orbit at 11:35 a.m. on Sept. 18.
