Among the many BRAC decisions rendered by the commission last week are: realignment of the undergraduate navigator training at Randolph AFB, Tex., to NAS Pensacola, Fla.; closure of Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, Tex., with the creation of a new San Antonio Regional Medical Center, to be housed at Ft. Sam Houston, Tex.; merger of facility operations for Ft. Dix and the Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst in New Jersey under a central commander at McGuire AFB, N.J.; and closure of Brooks City-Base, Tex., relocating its Air Force Materiel Command units to Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
