Air Mobility Command has named the 60th Air Mobility Wing at Travis AFB, Calif., as the Best Air Mobility Team for the 2007 Rodeo competition. Team Travis also took “best” team honors for airland, tanker, KC-10, C-17, C-5, and best maintenance knucklebuster in the awards revealed on June 27. Other awards presented on June 26 included Travis winners for C-5 air refueling aircrew, C-5 post-flight team, C-5 maintenance team, C-5 aircrew, KC-10 air refueling aircrew, KC-10 maintenance team, KC-10 cargo loading crew, KC-10 aircrew.
The Pentagon will no longer require civilian employees to submit a weekly list of five accomplishments from the previous week, ending a monthslong requirement that was first promoted by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a senior defense official told employees in a recent email.
