Air Force Global Strike Command, just activated in August to centralize USAF’s nuclear operations, is looking for active duty, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, civilians, and even retired and former military personnel to serve in the new command. AFGSC boss Lt. Gen. Frank Klotz said, “The opportunity to create something new—to know that whatever you do is going to have a lasting impact on the command—is a powerful incentive for people to join our team.” The nuclear-centric command, which just absorbed the ICBM force and plans to take over B-2 and B-52 bomber units early next year, needs personnel in a variety of functional areas.
