The US is flying intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance flights over a section of Afghanistan that was hit by an earthquake on Monday. The magnitude-7.5 earthquake struck northeastern Afghanistan, along with parts of Pakistan, India, and Tajikistan and killed dozens, reported CNN. Pentagon spokesman Navy Capt. Jeff Davis said Monday there had? not been reports of damage to infrastructure used by the US or allies in Operation Resolute Support. The Afghanistan government has not yet made any requests for humanitarian aid. However, the US is flying ISR flights over the region to “help inform” the Afghanistan government on its humanitarian response.
