The Air Force issues its second report on the “Roswell Incident,” the alleged crash and recovery of an extraterrestrial vehicle and its alien occupants near Roswell, N.M., in July 1947. The report, entitled “The Roswell Report: Case Closed,” concludes that Air Force activities that occurred over a period of many years are now represented to have occurred in two or three days in 1947; “aliens” were actually anthropomorphic test dummies; “unusual military activities” were actually high altitude balloon.
Defense industry leaders say the Air Force needs to be able to update the software on its munitions multiple times a day, not every few months, and a new Pentagon instruction released last week could enable that.
