The lone Air Force Reserve Command recruiter working to fill some 1,400 slots to re-establish the 440th Airlift Wing from Milwaukee to Pope Air Force Base (soon to be Pope Army Airfield) in North Carolina is still shy a few airmen. The Fayetteville (N.C.) Observer reports that SMSgt. Lonnie Taylor says he is still looking for all types from experienced colonel to new recruit.
