Iran will buy Russian antiaircraft missiles, according to Moscow and Tehran news services. The deal is part of a $1 billion arms purchase that will cover improvements to Russian-made fighter jets operated by the Iranian Air Force, reports the New York Times. So much for Russian neutrality as it supposedly tries to help defuse the nuclear Iran issue.
The Air Force plans to add external weapons pylons on the B-1B bomber, both to increase the number of aircraft that can test hypersonic missiles and expand the Lancer’s loadout as USAF transitions to the B-21 bomber.
