A Special Forces soldier died Saturday in a non-combat incident in Jordan, the Pentagon announced. Army Spc. Isiah L. Booker, of Cibolo, Texas, died Saturday, and no additional details surrounding his death were announced. Booker was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group from Fort Campbell, Ky., and was deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Booker was assigned to the same unit as three other soldiers who were killed in November at a Jordanian military base. The soldiers, part of a program training moderate Syrian fighters, were shot at a checkpoint.
