The inaugural issue of AFA’s new publication, Wingman Magazine, is now available online, as of May 1, and will hit your mailbox in the coming days in print form, bundled with Air Force Magazine’s May almanac. Click here to access the full-issue digital version, or select here for the table of contents to view the individual articles. AFA created Wingman to complement Air Force Magazine and serve as a window to the men and women of our organization and the broader Air Force community we serve. The May issue features a heartfelt article by Caitie Craumer, AFA’s senior manager for Airmen and Family Programs, on the heroic efforts of wounded airmen to heal physically and emotionally from their injuries and why our support for them must never waver. Starting out, we plan to publish Wingman three times a year. Our next issue will appear in September, followed by one in early 2015.
