Retired Gen. Lew Allen Jr., 10th Air Force Chief of Staff who died Jan. 4 in Potomac Falls, Va., at age 84, was laid to rest with full military honors Monday at Arlington National Cemetery. Among those in attendance were current Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz, Allen’s wife Barbara, and additional family members. Allen served as CSAF from July 1978 to July 1982.
