The Air Force has launched a Web site to showcase its “Year of the Air Force Family” initiative that started in July and runs to July 2010. Airmen and their families are encouraged to visit the site (click here) to learn about service-wide initiatives supporting the effort, which the Air Force leadership launched to address areas of concern facing Air Force families and highlight the service’s commitment to all airmen—married and single—spouses, children, Air Force civilians, extended families, and retirees. “The strength of the nation’s Air Force is not the platforms we operate or the technologies we employ,” said Chief of Staff Gen.
