Air Force Reserve Command’s 94th Airlift Wing at Dobbins ARB, Ga., worked with the US Postal Service to arrange a special “cancellation” to commemorate the Air Force’s 60th Anniversary. From Sept. 18 to Oct. 18, the postmaster at Marietta, Ga., will affix the unique pictorial cancellation (see photo) on any mail that bears uncanceled postage at the first-class rate of 41 cents, reports Maj. Todd Copley with the 94th AW. The Marietta post office also is providing a “mail-back” service, returning envelopes, postcards, photographs, posters, and other materials to the sender. The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
