When asked about NSPS, Lt. Gen. Roger Brady, USAF’s personnel chief, said he thinks it’s going very well. Brady testified before a House panel Thursday, saying Air Force officials are “enthusiastic” about the National Security Personnel System. He went on, “We think it’s a critically important initiative for the services and for our people” because it enables the services to reward superior performance and recruit and retain high quality personnel.
Air Force senior statesmen explained the reasons they jointly sent a letter to Congress urging restoration of the E-7 Wedgetail and more F-35s to the fiscal 2026 defense budget.
