The Air Force is indeed restoring the MiG-25 Foxbat that US personnel unearthed from the Iraqi desert in 2003, reports Associated Press news service. The aircraft was one of many US officials say Saddam Hussein buried in the sand to protect them from air strikes. Aircraft restoration specialists at the National Museum of the Air Force are now working to restore the fighter. So far, visitors can only see the Foxbat by signing up for one of the museum’s behind the scenes tours.
