Four USAF F-15E Strike Eagles worked with other coalition forces to target and strike a terrorist facility in southern Baghdad. The four F-15Es launched precision-guided munitions at the target after coalition helicopters scanned the area for civilians to ensure there would be “no collateral damage,” according to US Central Command officials. The terrorists were using the facility in the Babil province to acquire and transport bomb-making munitions.
Less than a day after arriving in the Middle East, F-15E Strike Eagles from Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. defended Israel from an Iranian attack in April 2024.
