The 14th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, Gerald Murray, says it is time for him to make way for the 15th CMSAF. Murray plans to retire this summer, following 28 years in the Air Force. He has been the top enlisted man in the service since July 1, 2002. USAF has set June 30 for Murray’s formal replacement by the 15th CMSAF—who that will be has yet to be announced.
