The US Air Force is keeping up its airlift relief efforts for the Pakistan earthquake recovery operations. From Dec. 2-9, five USAF C-130s and one contracted B-747 flew in more than 72,000 pounds of medical supplies and equipment, aircraft parts, construction materials, generators, and communications equipment. As of Dec. 9, USAF has airlifted approximately 10 million pounds of relief supplies to Pakistan on 44 C-130s, 40 C-17s, and 52 contracted aircraft.
