The American public is more worried (see how much by clicking the box) about China’s drive for a stronger military than the Middle Kingdom’s growing economic power in Asia and the rest of the world. That is the conclusion of a recently released Harris survey. In one of the poll’s more important sub-findings, Harris reports that 42 percent of all Americans believe China will surpass the US military might within 10 years (while 46 percent think the US will hold an edge.)
