The US Air Force continued support of Pakistan earthquake relief efforts by airlifting more supplies to the northern region of the country. From Nov. 18-25, USAF provided two C-130 and two C-17 airlifters plus 13 contracted B-747s, delivering more than 1.4 million pounds of medical supplies, clothing, blankets, tents, construction materials, and generators. CENTAF officials say the latest cargo brings USAF’s total haul to more than nine million pounds.
