That is the consensus of everyone—airmen, civilians, other services, and more—the Air Force polled to reach a decision on its new advertising campaign slogan “Above All,” according to Col. Michael Caldwell, deputy director of Public Affairs. The new ad campaign, as the service has done recently, will feature airmen at work and will kick off this month in TV, print, and Internet advertising. SSgt. Lee Jones at Barksdale AFB, La., who will one of the first, talking about his work in the cyberspace domain, said, it’s “a great slogan because it says how we shine in what we do to defend our nation and accomplish our mission.” (USAF report by SSgt. J.G. Buzanowski)
The Air Force plans to add external weapons pylons on the B-1B bomber, both to increase the number of aircraft that can test hypersonic missiles and expand the Lancer’s loadout as USAF transitions to the B-21 bomber.
