Building on the unanimous House vote Nov. 15 that passed H.R. 6314, a bill that would broaden the education benefit for veterans and their families and prevent the expiration of other veterans’ benefits, House Veterans Committee Chairman Steve Buyer (R-Ind.) spurred his Senate colleagues—Democrat and Republican—to wrap up negotiations. In a statement, Buyer said: “The hard work of the past two years must not go in vain. Let’s complete our work.”
Army Building Up New Space Operations Branch

The Army has long been dependent on space capabilities to navigate terrain, communicate in hard-to-reach areas, and identify and strike targets. Now, the service wants to deepen its space operations expertise and is making plans to expand its own cadre of operators in the coming years.
