The American University’s School of Public Affairs released its “Best Places to Work” survey—a comprehensive ranking of federal government organizations based on the Office of Personnel Management’s Federal Human Capital Survey of 150,000 executive branch employees. The best place, according to the survey is the Office of Management and Budget. The Department of Defense enters the list at No. 14, with the Department of Homeland Security falling in at No. 29. Boeing received a $2.47 billion Air Force contract Nov. 25 for 15 more KC-46s, bringing to 183 the number of Pegasus tankers on contract to all customers, foreign and domestic. The new contract—for Lot 12 of the initially planned KC-46 buy—is to be completed by 2029.
