The American University’s School of Public Affairs released its “Best Places to Work” survey—a comprehensive ranking of federal government organizations based on the Office of Personnel Management’s Federal Human Capital Survey of 150,000 executive branch employees. The best place, according to the survey is the Office of Management and Budget. The Department of Defense enters the list at No. 14, with the Department of Homeland Security falling in at No. 29.
