The Air Force has announced the five teams winning the 2005 Chief of Staff Team Excellence Awards. They were chosen from a field of 15 teams, all of which, said Air Force officials, promoted systematic process improvements, leading in many cases to cost savings and mission improvement. The Air Force achieved its goal of recruiting 32,750 Active-Duty enlisted Airmen for 2026 five months ahead of schedule, military officials said this week—its biggest recruiting year in more than two decades.
