The Texas Adjutant General, Army Gen. Charles Rodriquez, awarded an Army Commendation Medal to MSgt. Lynn Bailey, fuels superintendent for the Texas Air National Guard’s 147th Fighter Wing, for speedy delivery of diesel fuel to 130 buses stranded with thousands of Texas Gulf Coast evacuees fleeing Hurricane Rita. Anduril and General Atomics will develop their Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the Air Force, beating out Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman, the service announced on April 24. But any of the non-selected companies can compete to actually manufacture the eventual design, the Air Force said.
