Airmen performed an Air Force Review on April 14 at the new Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Va. Hosted by Maj. Gen. Robert Smolen, commander of the Air Force District of Washington, the event marked the return of a 300-year-old military tradition stemming from the use of drummers to call English troops from their billets in towns and villages around a battlefield, reports SSgt. Madelyn Waychoff.
Air Force Secretary Troy Meink revealed Sept. 14 the Space Force has “space control weapons” on orbit today—the Pentagon’s most direct acknowledgement to date that the U.S. is operating offensive capabilities in space.
