Chances for promotion among enlisted Reservists just doubled, thanks to a policy change approved by Lt. Gen. John Bradley, head of Air Force Reserve Command, that advanced the promotion cycle from an every other month process to a monthly process. An AFRC release states that the command’s policy now is in consonance with USAF’s Future Total Force concept.
Anduril and General Atomics will develop their Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the Air Force, beating out Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman, the service announced on April 24. But any of the non-selected companies can compete to actually manufacture the eventual design, the Air Force said.
