The Air Force’s two top leaders have released a new Letter to Airmen that urges airmen to consider how their “personal well-being affects [their] job performance” and, by extension, the unit mission. The leaders cite hurricane season as an example for airmen who live in hurricane-prone areas to consider “how prepared you are to protect your family financially.” Read the entire letter here.
Anduril and General Atomics will develop their Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the Air Force, beating out Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman, the service announced on April 24. But any of the non-selected companies can compete to actually manufacture the eventual design, the Air Force said.
