The US Air Force Academy now has 37 cases of cadet cheating under investigation, instead of the 36 reported earlier. Of the 37 cases, 27 fourth class cadets have admitted they cheated on a Fourth Class Knowledge Test. Of those 27, 25 were academy athletes. One cadet has resigned. Peer panels so far have found that eight cadets violated the academy code.
The Pentagon has concluded a new agreement to buy laser-guidance kits that turn rockets into drone-killing weapons. BAE Systems and the Defense Department announced a framework deal of up to seven years for 25,000 Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System guidance kits annually for the U.S. military.
