Mini Sats Blast Off: A pair of mini-satellites that will test military and intelligence technology in orbit blasted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Wednesday night aboard a Boeing Delta II rocket. Boeing officials say the booster launched the Micro-Satellite Technology Experiment—a collaboration by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Air Force, and the Navy. The team plans to use MiTEx to evaluate small sat technologies.
