When asked about NSPS, Lt. Gen. Roger Brady, USAF’s personnel chief, said he thinks it’s going very well. Brady testified before a House panel Thursday, saying Air Force officials are “enthusiastic” about the National Security Personnel System. He went on, “We think it’s a critically important initiative for the services and for our people” because it enables the services to reward superior performance and recruit and retain high quality personnel.
Aircraft readiness will suffer if Congress does not approve some $1.5 billion worth of spare parts the Air Force requested in its annual Unfunded Priorities List, sent to Capitol Hill last week, Chief of Staff Gen. David W. Allvin said.
