USAF, USN Show at Dubai: UAE invited the US Air Force and US Navy to participate in its Dubai Air Show, which many say is close behind the Farnborough and Paris air shows. The US forces have sent some 300 airmen and sailors and more than 20 different aircraft to Dubai, which ends Nov. 24. Buchanan said that the invitation “reflects the very special relationship we have with one of our closest coalition partners in the region.”
The Air Force plans to add external weapons pylons on the B-1B bomber, both to increase the number of aircraft that can test hypersonic missiles and expand the Lancer’s loadout as USAF transitions to the B-21 bomber.
