The Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Michael Moseley, has written a letter to airmen to thank them for their sacrifices in the Global War on Terror and to tell them they are doing “awesome work.” Noting that the service has been at war for more than 15 years—since 1991’s Gulf War 1 through 12 years of no-fly zone patrols over Iraq to today.
