She is the Air National Guard assistant to the commander of Air Education and Training Command and now Maj. Gen. LaRita Aragon. Aragon, who was the first woman to reach star rank in the Oklahoma ANG, received her second star on Dec. 22 at the state capitol, reports the Shawnee News-Star.

Two EA-37A Compass Call electronic attack aircraft deployed from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., to RAF Fairford, U.K.
