The head of US Special Operations Command, Army Gen. Bryan Brown, had more good things to say about Air Force special operators during a Tuesday visit to Hurlburt Field, Fla., home of Air Force Special Operations Command and the Joint Special Operations University. The Northwest Florida Daily News, reports that Brown said, “AFSOC is key to the Global War on Terror and SOCOM’s efforts.” Brown noted last November in an interview with the Daily Report that USAF special operators were moving quickly to transform to meet new world threats.
